  • Data & Privacy: Understand privacy and data fundamentals (such as GDPR, Data Act, IP (i.e. Database act)
  • Cloud and Platforms: Platform legal landscape (e.g. DSA/DMA, OSA, cloud legal landscape
  • Cyber Security: Cyber security (e.g. NIS2, CRA, DORA, TPRM, ICT legal landscape)
  • AI & emerging technologies: How AI and other technologies are regulated through the AI Act and beyond
Business-oriented
  • Legal Operations & Change Management: Legal Function of the Future: design efficient, scalable, and data-driven legal processes that support modern delivery models
Impact-driven
  • Risk, Ethics & Governance/ interdisciplinary: Enable legal professionals to assess, govern, and guide the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies
Creative
  • Legal Design & Innovation in practice: Applying design thinking, process redesign and innovation methods to legal work.

Developed in collaboration with Radboud University’s Centre for Postacademic Legal Education (CPO) the Legal Technologist program combines academic rigor with KPMG’s business and technology expertise. Through a hybrid delivery model, with CPO providing theoretical foundations and KPMG leading practical application and real-world cases, participants gain skills they can use immediately. This partnership enhances quality and ensures the program is a trusted, market-relevant pathway for today’s legal professionals.
